Wow! The backing is very cool and what a pretty quilt for a young girl. I personally love the little pinwheels as the cornerstones. Quilting a butterfly was brilliant!
The pieced backing really was a great idea. It's very possible that as Agnes' granddaughter outgrows the sparkly butterflies, she'll love the modern geometric back more than the front. It's a two for one!
