Liz's Lipinski project

Liz started this top in a class taught by Mark Lipinski at Pieceful Quilting.  She gave me total freedom on the quilting, and I had a blast!

I love the spaced triple lines.  I don't know if it has a name, but it looks like beadboard to me.

I repeated the triple lines in an inner triangle border with flowers in the next border.

Ribbon candy (So Fine thread colors throughout the quilt were matched to the fabric)

I knew immediately that I was going to put butterflies in this section.

  2. Thank you both. I just wish I'd been brave enough to use variegated thread.

  4. Thanks, Jennie. It was in last year's show. The quilting looks good here, because of selective photography LOL! But because I used the same color thread as the fabric, it's not that noticeable : ( One day I'll be brave.
