This is Debbie's applique quilt--didn't she do a wonderful job? I don't know if this was a kit, but the fabrics and designs are beautifully balanced over the quilt. I love the recurring heart shape. I quilted a medium stipple in the background of the blocks, used rulers in the sashing and cornerstones and did an all over curlicue design in the outer border.
Diane's Hungry Caterpillar, semi-custom quilted. Variegated loops or X's in the "bricks". White thread stippling in the background of the butterfly and caterpillar. I used the same bright variegated thread to highlight some areas of the butterfly and caterpillar.
I wish I had more space in my house so that I could get better pictures of the bigger quilts. I guess I didn't remember to take a picture of the full quilt when I dropped this off at Pieceful Quilting for Jennie. The feathered circle with the spiral center and the vines in the border were done with the Pro-Stitcher. I used rulers for the ditch work, and the stippling is freehand.
