Michelina's sampler

Michelina put together these sampler blocks and wanted something a little special for the quilting.  A few digitized designs, some ruler work, and some freehand.

Wendy's double wedding ring

Someone made this top for Wendy in exchange for something she made for them.  I did the best job I could quilting it (it was not assembled as carefully as Wendy would have done it).  The rings are stitched in the ditch and the designs in the muslin are a block specific set of patterns called Bethany by Digi-tech.

Sheryl's quilt for Evy

Sheryl made this quilt for her daughter's wedding.  She wanted to make her a quilt that reflected their life as a family.  Some of the blocks were gifted from a block of the month she and her friends did at a local quilt shop, Pieceful Quilting.  The rest of the blocks were made from the book Quilt from El's Kitchen by Eleanor Burns.  She added buttons to the centers of the flowers after it was quilted.  Someone at the show must have liked the quilting, because it's rare that they hang quilts so the back can be seen.
