Patricia's red/white/blue star quilt

When Patricia's daughter saw the stars and loops on a previous quilt, she told Patricia that was the pattern she'd like on HER quilt.  So she got it : )

Patricia's Baskets

Okay, so maybe these aren't really baskets, but they look like it to me!  I love the look of an applique border on a pieced quilt.  I shy away from the "a" word myself, but I certainly appreciate all the work that goes into it.  This one was quilted with the pantograph Tulip Basket by Willow Leaf Studio.

Patricia's Stars with appliqued borders

Another of Patricia's quilts--she doesn't do "small"!  This one was quilted with freehand feathers everywhere except for the appliqued sections of the border.  The applique was outlined and a small stipple filled the background.  There's nothing better than a scrap quilt, don't you agree?

Patricia's Stars

This is the second top I quilted for Patricia.  The fabric choices really make this quilt.  It's quilted with the pantograph Simple Stars & Loops by Willow Leaf Studio.
